NetoMzda is a net-pay calculator for Slovakia, for anyone working here or weighing up a move. Its content is expanded on an ongoing basis.

What NetoMzda is
NetoMzda is a net-pay calculator for Slovakia. It is for anyone who works here or is weighing up a move — so that, before you sign a contract, you can see how much of a gross salary actually reaches your account. It models standard employment (závislá činnosť) for the 2026 tax year: the social and health contributions, the four-band progressive income tax, the tax-free allowance and its faster taper, and the child tax bonus, including the case where the bonus is paid out and net pay exceeds gross minus contributions.
Our promise: honest figures
No number here is invented. Every rate and amount is meant to trace to an official source, with the date it was last checked, and the calculator reads its figures from one central data file rather than hard-coding them into the pages — so a corrected value updates everywhere at once. Anything we could not confirm from a primary source is flagged as unconfirmed or left out rather than dressed up as settled. Where our research carries a value at a lower confidence tier — the eleven-times multiple behind the social ceiling, the monthly form of the high-income bonus reduction, the work-difficulty coefficients — we say so on the page instead of presenting it as fact.
Methodology and sources
The calculation follows the primary and authoritative Slovak sources for salaried pay:
- Finančná správa SR — income tax, the tax-free allowance and the child tax bonus.
- Sociálna poisťovňa — social-insurance rates and the maximum monthly assessment base.
- MPSVR SR (Ministry of Labour) — the minimum wage and the work-difficulty scale.
- Štatistický úrad SR — the average wage that drives the thresholds.
- Slov-lex — the consolidated wording of the underlying acts (595/2003, 461/2003, 580/2004 and the 2026 consolidation package 261/2025).
The research this site rests on was collected: August 2026. Each value follows the official source cited beside it and carries the date it was last checked; a recent change may not be reflected here yet, and none of them has been through our final sign-off.

Disclaimer
The results are for information. NetoMzda is an informational calculator, not tax advice — it does not replace a tax adviser or the relevant authority, and for an official calculation you should turn to them. The figures follow the official sources cited on each page, the notice at the foot of every page states that a recent change may not be reflected yet and that nothing here has been through our final sign-off, and it has no account, sign-up or form that collects personal data — the calculator runs in your browser and the figures you enter never leave it. Google Analytics 4 does run on every page, without cookies, though Google still receives the page address, the page you came from, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and your device or browser type (see the Privacy page).
